Jim Hiller will join Babcock in Toronto. Hiller ran the power play and did so effectively this season with the Red Wings.

If Kulfan’s report is true, the Toronto Maple Leafs will be getting a power play specialist for their bench to go with the hottest coaching ticket in town.
Hiller, as Kulfan points out, ran the Wings power play unit since he was hired prior to the 2014-2015 season by the Wings and had them playing to the tune of 23.8% – good enough for second in the entire NHL last year, behind only Alexander Ovechkin’s Washington Capitals.
