MetroStars score six unanswered goals to pick up first road win of the season

The Mississauga MetroStars picked up their first-ever road win on Sunday afternoon, beating division-leaders Utica City FC 9-3 at the Adirondack Bank Center.

The MetroStars have been struggling all season with getting off to good starts, but on Sunday, they scored first, as Shawn Brown found the back of the net just 1:30 into the match.

Utica responded quickly, scoring twice in about a minute with the two goals being scored by Mauricio Salles and Nate Bourdeau at 2:37 and 3:35 respectively. Salles fired a bullet past Adrian Becic, while Bourdeau's goal was named Utica City FC's play of the game:

After a few minutes without a goal, Jarred Philips tied the game for the MetroStars at the 6:14 mark, his fifth goal of the season.
