Travis remains out with left shoulder injury

TORONTO -- Second baseman Devon Travis was held out of the Blue Jays' starting lineup for the second consecutive game on Wednesday night against the Orioles because of a left shoulder injury.

Travis sustained the injury during Monday night's benches-clearing fracas with the Yankees. The 25-year-old hurt his surgically repaired shoulder during a scrum, and he aggravated it during a fourth-inning strikeout.

"He's making progress," Blue Jays manager John Gibbons said. "We'll see [when he's able to return]."
