The 2015 Fantasy Fare baseball all-star team

With two weeks to go and our attentions set to be diverted to NHL training camps, we offer up our Fantasy Fare all-star squad for 2015. Once again, it is NOT necessarily the top producers at each position, but the ones who, based on their draft-day value, rewarded their owners the most. (As usual, we’re limiting it to players who began the season at the major-league level and were available to be selected in drafts and auctions.)

Catchers — Stephen Vogt OAK, Welington Castillo ARZ/SEA/CHC: While Vogt (.271, 18 HRs) hangs on to this honour despite a dreadful (and, ahem, painful) second half, the nomadic Castillo has been a post-all star break beast, hitting 12 of his 19 HRs.
