More questions than answers for Jays as April winds down

The other night, after getting raked over the coals yet again, this time by the Chicago White Sox, R.A. Dickey was trying to wrap his mind around the hot mess that has been his season so far.

“I'm thankful April is over,” he said. “Let's put it that way.”

He was talking about his own personal hell but he could have been speaking for the entire Blue Jay team.

Coming off the team's first playoff run in decades, a 2015 season highlighted by a charge down the stretch the likes of which has never been seen in these parts, it was natural enough that the team came out of spring training with unprecedented confidence.
