Liriano yields just one run against O's

"I think everything has been working well," Liriano said after the outing. "Breaking ball has been sharp and down in the zone and I'm not trying to overthrow with it. I'm having better location with the fastball, which has been helping me a lot, too. I'm throwing everything around the plate, get ahead in the count early and just try not to overthrow. That's a key for me."

Fellow lefty Jayson Aquino countered for the Orioles and also enjoyed a pretty successful afternoon on the mound. Aquino allowed one run on three hits and a walk with four strikeouts as he continues to make a case for a spot on Baltimore's 25-man roster.
