The Herd had a 2-0 lead after six but it went away when Taylor Guerrieri was torched for a grand slam and five runs in total in the seventh. Murphy Smith gave up two more runs in 1-1/3 before Al Alburquerque mopped up. That ruined a great start by Sam Gaviglio who spun six shutout innings of five-hit ball, striking out six and walking nobody.
