Former Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Steve Delabar has signed a minor league deal with an invitation to spring training with the Texas Rangers. The 34-year old did not pitch last season after getting tagged with an 80-game suspension for performance-enhancing drugs.
Delabar is best remembered for his 2013 campaign with the Jays, that is the same season where he won the All-Star fan vote with the hashtag #RaiseThe Bar earning the final spot on the American League squad for the mid-summer classic.
Royals Expressing Interest In Go-Go
According to Jon Heyman of Fan Rag Sports, the Kansas City Royals have expressed some level of interest in signing free agent Ryan Goins.
