Blue Jays MiLB Report: Bisons shut down Red Wings

The Bisons got a great effort from Chris Leroux yesterday as he held the talented Rochester Red Wings lineup in check. Leroux allowed just three hits and threw 6.2 innings of shutout ball. The bullpen followed with 2.1 shutout innings of its own and allowed just 2 more hits. Aaron Loup got into the action for one batter and Bo Shultz picked up the two-innings save.

On offence Jesus Montero and A.J. Jimenez each had two-hit games and picked up an RBI each. Montero is currently riding an eight-game hitting streak. The power was supplied by Matt Dominguez on a solo home run in the 8th inning.
