The fallout from the Toronto Blue Jays’ benches-clearing altercation with the New York Yankees on Monday night could see multiple players forced out of the lineup.
Earlier this morning, Jon Morosi reported that second-baseman Devon Travis injured his left shoulder. This is particularly important because that is the shoulder Travis had surgically repaired over the offseason. Video of the incident shows Travis bouncing between teammates and Yankees in the middle of the scrum as the two sides came together. Injury that forced Devon Travis from Monday’s game was to his left shoulder. That’s the one he had surgically repaired last year.
