World Series 2016: Three takeaways as Indians shut out Cubs in Game 1

The Cleveland Indians are three wins away from their first World Series title in 68 years and continuing the Curse of the Billy Goat.

Behind six-plus remarkable innings from Corey Kluber, three runs off Jon Lester, and a clutch bullpen performance, the Tribe topped the Cubs 6-0 in Game 1 of the World Series on Tuesday night at Progressive Field. It was the bottom half of the order driving in runs for the Tribe as Jose Ramirez (infield single), Brandon Guyer (hit by pitch), and Roberto Perez (two homers) produced all six markers for Cleveland.
