Wimbledon 2016: No. 2 seed Garbine Muguruza first giant upset victim

Garbine Muguruza, winner of the French Open and a Wimbledon favorite, is out. Seeded second, Muguruza becomes the first major upset victim of the grass-court tennis showcase.

It took less than an hour for qualifier Jana Cepelova to pull the upset, won 6-3, 6-2. Cepelova is from Slovakia and entered Wimbledon No. 124 in world rankings.

Cepelova eliminated Simona Halep in 2015; Halep was third seed. She now qualifies as a giant killer.

"I am so happy. I am very surprised, I did not expect two sets," Cepelova told BBC Sport. "I have beaten some great players and I am very happy with this.
