Before he was gunned down in a road rage incident, former Saints defensive end Will Smith was moving forward from his football career, in part by earning a degree from the University of Miami (Fla.).
On Thursday, his widow, Racquel, completed his goal by crossing the stage and accepting his degree for him at a university graduation ceremony.
