Understatement: Josh Donaldson was effective in the Blue Jays' 9-6 win over the Twins on Sunday (box score). In fact, Donaldson on Sunday tallied the first three-homer game of his career. In the second inning, he hit a solo homer off Kyle Gibson. In the seventh he hit a go-ahead, two-run blast off Pat Light, and in the eighth he crushed a solo shot to dead center off Alex Wimmers.
