Wade Davis trade another championship move by Cubs

Davis, 31, is a highly capable replacement (44 for 48 in save opportunities over the past two seasons) for rental closer Aroldis Chapman, and he comes much cheaper. Chicago can take on the full $10 million Davis will make next season in the final year of his contract; Chapman is reportedly in line to land a long-term contract upward of $100 million.
