In his radio show this week, Utah coach Larry Krystkowiak revealed that he was treated for cancer in the spring, and had his thyroid removed.
Krystkowiak mentioned the treatment during the show in passing when bringing up his weight.
"I'm chubby," he said. "I had my thyroid taken out this spring. Found some cancer in it. It's the strangest thing."
Krystkowiak showed his lightheartedness later in the interview.
