So far, the Texas Longhorns baseball team has had to deal with very little failure. During it's rise to the No. 1 ranking, UT built a 19-2 conference record and were riding a 10-game winning streak. All of that came to a crashing end this weekend in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Prior to weekend series, Texas was the only SEC team to win all seven series its played in. UT also had a streak of 13 consecutive series victories, its longest such streak in over 35 years.
Things got off to a bad start on Thursday, as the Hogs snapped the Texas win streak in emphatic fashion, winning 9-0.
