Louis van Gaal walked out of a news conference Wednesday after becoming annoyed about speculation regarding his future as Manchester United’s manager. Reports have spread that van Gaal is about to be fired and replaced by José Mourinho, who was dismissed by Chelsea last Thursday.
“I read I have been sacked,” Van Gaal said sarcastically regarding reports of his impending dismissal. After taking questions for less than five minutes, he refused any more. United is fifth in the Premier League.
