Marshawn Lynch's cryptic retirement announcement Sunday was fitting for the #BeastMode running back, who is known as a man of few words.
Lynch tweeted only a picture of football cleats hanging from a wire, along with a "deuces" emoji during Super Bowl 50. The post, along with the reaction of teammates, owner Paul Allen and reports that Lynch told friends he was going to call it quits, seems to confirm Lynch’s decision to retire.
The Seahawks official Twitter page responded to Lynch's picture with the hashtag #ThankYouBeastMode.
