Ryan Fitzpatrick, after an excellent year with the New York Jets in 2015, re-signed with the team Wednesday, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Schefter noted the deal was worth $12 million for one season and "fully guaranteed." He added the "deal also includes another $3 million in incentives, which could boost value to $15 million, per source."
Fitzpatrick, 33, threw for 3,905 yards, 31 touchdowns and 15 interceptions in 2015, showing excellent chemistry with Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker and leading the Jets to the NFL's 10th-ranked offense in total yards and the 11th-ranked offense in total points.
