Royals Rally Past the Yankees’ Imploding Bullpen

The Yankees christened a small section of seats in right field as the Judge’s Chambers this week, garnishing the area with wood paneling, handing out judicial robes and foam gavels, as well as a sign that read, “All Rise.”

It was an attempt to fuel the Aaron Judge hype train during his torrid start, but on Tuesday night, the rising in the Yankee Stadium stands was restricted mostly to the catching of home runs by the Kansas City Royals.

After a superb start from Jordan Montgomery, the Yankees’ bullpen imploded, allowing three home runs — all into the right-field seats — as the Royals rallied for a 6-2 victory.
