Robert Quinn Underwent Thumb Surgery; Expected to Be Ready for Training Camp

Los Angeles Rams defensive lineman Robert Quinn underwent surgery to repair a ligament in his thumb but is expected to recover in time for the start of training camp, according to NFL Network's Steve Wyche.

Although Quinn has never been able to match his breakout 2013 campaign, when he racked up 19 sacks, he remains a vital piece of the Rams defense.

Injuries have started to become a bigger concern of late after the 27-year-old North Carolina product missed just one game over his first four seasons in the league.
