Provided the following report turns out to be true, Duke's chances this season just took a major hit, and the Blue Devils haven't played a game yet.

Quarterback Thomas Sirk is expected to miss the 2016 campaign after reinjuring his Achilles tendon, according to the Associated Press. Sirk initially ruptured his left Achilles in February and had surgery. At the time of the injury, Sirk's season was put in doubt.

Officially, Duke has not released any information about Sirk's injury.
