Red Bulls look to keep streaking vs. Minnesota United (Jul 22, 2017)

The surging New York Red Bulls have a quick turnaround from Wednesday’s convincing home win by traveling to play Minnesota United FC on Saturday.

This will be the first meeting between New York and Minnesota United, an expansion team in its first season.

The Red Bulls (9-8-2) defeated the San Jose Earthquakes 5-1 on Wednesday for their fourth consecutive victory including Open Cup matches. They have won their last two MLS matches as they enter the game against Minnesota United (5-11-4), which is tied for last place in the Western Conference with 19 points.

“We’ve stuck to it,” Red Bulls head coach Jesse Marsch said.
