Rangers Win Shootout Over Flyers; Devils Lose Theirs to the Capitals

Mats Zuccarello and Derek Stepan scored during a shootout to lift the Rangers to a 3-2 comeback victory over Philadelphia on Saturday.

Keith Yandle tied the score with 12.9 seconds left in the third period and Chris Kreider also scored in regulation for the Rangers, who won consecutive games for just the second time since Nov. 23.

Ryan White scored and Shayne Gostisbehere had a goal and an assist in regulation for the Flyers, who had won three straight. The Rangers improved to 3-2 in tiebreakers this season, while Philadelphia dropped to 2-5.

Philadelphia’s Sam Gagner shot high and Claude Giroux was stopped by Henrik Lundqvist in the shootout.
