The Las Vegas Raiders signed running back Alexander Mattison on Monday, according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz.
Mattison rushed for a career-high 700 yards on 180 carries in 2023 as a member of the Minnesota Vikings. He also recorded 30 catches for 192 yards, finding the end zone three times as a receiver.
The 25-year-old will operate as part of a committee in the Raiders backfield as the team attempts to replace the production of former All-Pro tailback Josh Jacobs, who signed with the Green Bay Packers in free agency.
