Alex Bowman will start from the pole position in Sunday's Can-AM 500 at Phoenix International Raceway.
Bowman, who has 80 career starts, won his first career pole with a speed of 140.521 mph in NASCAR's penultimate race. Bowman was followed by Kyle Larson (second), Chase Elliott (third) and Joey Logano (fourth), who led all Chase contenders in the lineup for the second consecutive week.
