EDMONTON, Alberta — Leon Draisaitl, Anton Lander and Brandon Davidson all scored in the third period for Edmonton, helping the Oilers end a seven-game losing streak with a 3-1 victory over the Islanders on Sunday night.
Cam Talbot made 36 saves in his seventh consecutive start for the Oilers.
Casey Cizikas scored for the Islanders, who had won the previous three games of a season-high seven-game trip.
The Islanders had a great chance to score midway through the second after a scoreless first period, but Talbot came up with a big toe save on Josh Bailey.
