In a shocking upset, American Sam Querrey beat No. 1 and defending champion Novak Djokovic in the third round at Wimbledon on Saturday, 7-6, 6-1, 3-6, 7-6.
Seeded No. 28, Querrey ended Djokovic's bid for the calendar Grand Slam after Djokovic won the first two majors of the year at the Australian Open and French Open. Djokovic was looking to win his fourth Wimbledon title at the All England Club; Querrey has only made the fourth round at a Grand Slam three other times in his career.
