Amid the Detroit Lions' pre-draft spending spree, Jared Goff isn't among the players on the brink of landing a contract extension from the reigning NFC North champs.
Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, "no deal is close" between Goff and the Lions right now even though the two sides have talked about an extension.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported on Wednesday that Amon-Ra St. Brown agreed to a four-year, $120 million extension with the Lions that includes $77 million guaranteed.
Not long after St. Brown's deal was reported, NFL Network's Mike Garafolo noted Penei Sewell agreed to a new four-year, $112 million deal with $85 million guaranteed.
