LaVar Ball gets in player’s face while delivering halftime speech to AAU team

A softball pitcher in New Jersey threw the ultimate perfect game on Friday.

Cedar Grove’s Mia Faieta faced 21 batters in a 4-0 playoff victory over North Warren and struck out every one of them.

“This was fun,” said Faieta, who has helped her team to a 19-7 record while competing in one of the state’s toughest divisions, the Super Essex Conference-American.

“I knew as the game kept going on a that I had more and more,” she said. “I didn’t want to say anything because I didn’t want to jinx it. I had the three in first inning and thought maybe I could keep doing it.
