At the age of 11, Kota Ibushi made a promise to dedicate himself to a life in pro wrestling.
Nearly three decades later, Ibushi is the premier star of New Japan Pro-Wrestling.
His journey began in the Japanese fishing town of Kagoshima. Ibushi would watch as much wrestling as his parents allowed, relishing the chance to see junior heavyweights like The Great Sasuke and Jushin Thunder Liger.
