Former Penn State coach Joe Paterno was informed as early as 1976 that former assistant coach Jerry Sandusky was sexually abusing boys, pennlive.com reported Thursday.
The revelation was discovered in a court order in an insurance case conncted to Sandusky's abuse of minors.
Sandusky is serving a lengthy prison sentence on multiple counts of abuse. He continues to maintain his innocence.
