Galaxy aim to end four-game skid vs. Revolution (Jul 22, 2017)

The Los Angeles Galaxy and New England Revolution have a history of meeting in big matches.

Three times the clubs have faced off in the MLS Cup, with the Galaxy winning all three meetings — including a 2-1 decision in their most recent matchup with a title on the line in 2014.

But neither have resembled their recent championship form this season as they each enter Saturday night’s match at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass. riding four-game league losing streaks.

Los Angeles (6-9-4) fell to 1-6-3 at home this season with a 1-0 loss to the Vancouver Whitecaps on Wednesday.
