Former Alabama QB Alec Morris receives death threat after bowl loss

As much fun as college football is for players and fans, it's a sad reality that many people simply take the game way too seriously — like the person who threatened to kill former Alabama quarterback Alec Morris.

Morris, who led the North Texas Mean Green in a 38-31 overtime loss in the Heart of Dallas Bowl against Army on Tuesday, posted a ridiculous message he received after his team lost.

Morris — who transferred from Alabama prior to the season — completed 26 of 38 passes for 304 yards, three touchdowns and an interception, though his impressive stat line apparently wasn't good enough for the person who messaged him.
