Manziel was a free man last week when, according to testimony told to police in Fort Worth, he assaulted his ex-girlfriend, Colleen Crowley, and threatened to kill her and himself. He was free because he wasn’t in jail or facing charges in Ohio for a roadside incident in suburban Cleveland with the same woman in October.
