Weeks after Kevin Durant made the biggest free agent move since LeBron James decided to return to the Cavs, leaving the Thunder to join the rival Warriors, an even juicier tidbit about the signing emerged. According to ESPN's Royce Young, Durant told his running mate all-star point guard Russell Westbrook he would re-sign with Oklahoma City.
Turns out, that never happened.
Young said he "misspoke" and wound up misleading the public on a recent TrueHoop podcast.
