Denny Hamlin won a wild race at Richmond International Raceway on Saturday night.
With the focus primarily on the drivers trying to lock into the Chase for the Sprint Cup, leader Hamlin didn’t pit after a late caution while several behind him did. Among those who did was Kyle Larson, who stormed to second.
The Chase field was set with the 13 winners from this season - Kevin Harvick, Brad Keselowski, Joey Logano, Carl Edwards, Hamlin, Kurt Busch, Kyle Busch, Martin Truex Jr., Matt Kenseth, Jimmie Johnson, Larson, Tony Stewart, Chris Buescher - joined by Chase Elliott, Austin Dillon and Jamie McMurray in the field.
