Many in the NASCAR circuit have speculated Jeff Gordon's arrival in the Fox Sports NASCAR booth would be beneficial for viewers, but not for longtime analyst Darrell Waltrip, who will have his toes stepped on by the younger Gordon.
The two haven't always agreed during the three Sprint Cup races so far this season, leaving critics to believe Waltrip is disgruntled with the rookie analyst stealing his thunder.
