Dale Earnhardt Jr. will be at Dover this weekend to support Jeff Gordon and the No. 88 car team. He also will watch Hendrick Motorsports teammates attempt to advance in the Chase for the Sprint Cup.
Earnhardt will not race again this season as he continues recovery from a head injury. His focus now is on being able to drive when Speedweeks activities begin in February ahead of the 2017 Daytona 500.
Jimmie Johnson and Chase Elliott of among the 16 drivers in the Chase, and four drivers will be pared form the field after Sunday's Citizen Soldier 400.
