Curry, Durant on Warriors blowout loss to Spurs: 'A slap in the face'

The Golden State Warriors are overwhelmingly odds on favorites to take home their second title in three years, but after their opening night game against the San Antonio Spurs, several Warriors players said the way they performed was a wake-up call.

The Warriors were ran out of the own gym on Tuesday night, getting blown out 129–100 by the Spurs.

"It's a nice little slap in the face," Warriors guard Stephen Curry said, according to ESPN.com.

"It's a slap in the face. It woke us up a bit, and we're looking forward to getting better," forward Kevin Durant added.
