Carson Wentz and Nick Foles will be forever linked through their tenure as teammates with the Philadelphia Eagles, but that connection also helped bring Wentz to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Speaking to reporters during his introductory press conference on Thursday, Wentz said it was Foles' praise for the Chiefs during his time in Kansas City that helped sell him on the organization:
"I remember all the good things he had to say about his time here. He absolutely loved it. He loved working with those guys and those things he said to me back then definitely still ranked true in my head as I was making this decision.
