BYU won Poinsettia Bowl thanks to bizarre, incredibly lucky touchdown

If you didn't feel like staying up Wednesday night to watch the Poinsettia Bowl, we don't blame you. Although you missed some crazy moments, like in third quarter when BYU quarterback Tanner Mangum threw up an extremely ill-advised throw in the end zone that somehow led to a touchdown against Wyoming.

FIrst of all, Mangum was fortunate not be sacked. Then he decided to throw a duck up in the air where anyone could come down with it, including Wyoming defenders. The ball hit two opponents first, before somehow safely falling in the arms of tight end Tanner Balderree.
