Brian Scott retiring at age 28; rookie Sprint Cup driver turning attention to family

In a sport involving drivers in their 40s, Brian Scott's decision to retire at age 28 is a surprise.

Scott leaves a full-time ride with Richard Petty Motorsports to tend to a growing family, driver and team announced Thursday.
