Bob Miller receives Governors Award at LA Area Emmys

Bob Miller, the now retired play-by-play announcer for the Los Angeles Kings, received another accolade for his storied career.

Miller was presented the Governors Award at the LA Area Emmys on Saturday night at the Saban Media Center.

For 44 years (including 37 as the lead man for the Kings), Miller called plenty of professional hockey games (and those two Stanley Cup victories!), but also got started doing college football and basketball at Wisconsin.

Miller was introduced by LA Kings President (and a Hall of Famer himself) Luc Robitaille.
