Bethune-Cookman football player killed in shooting at party

Police in Daytona Beach, Fla., are searching for a suspect in the fatal shooting of a Bethune-Cookman University football player early Saturday morning, WKMG-TV reported.

According to police, Lamont Postell Jr., 23, is accused of pulling out a gun during a fight at a party at the Indigo Lake Golf Club on Saturday around 1 a.m. ET. He allegedly shot three Bethune-Cookman students, leaving linebacker Don'Kevious Johnson dead and two others injured.

Johnson, 23, was airlifted to Halifax Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.
