Auburn defeats LSU after officials overturn game-winning touchdown

LSU and Auburn went down to the wire on Saturday night, and finished in wild fashion. Auburn came away the victor, 18–13, after a last-second LSU touchdown was wiped away by officials who reviewed the play.

Let‘s start here: On 4rd-and-76 from the Auburn 10-yard line, LSU quarterback Danny Etling hooked up with Travin Dural for an eight-yard gain as the clock began to tick down. LSU was then called for an illegal forward shift, and officials called for the down to be re-played.

That meant that LSU would have to try to get a play off with just one second left on the clock.
