Ernest Wallace is being tried separately for the 2013 murder of Odin Lloyd, but he's saying he had no part in Lloyd's death.
Wallace's trial began Tuesday and his lawyer, David Meier, said in his opening statements it was former Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez "who shot and killed Odin Lloyd."

Hernandez was convicted last April for the first-degree murder of Lloyd on June 17, 2013. He was sentenced to life in prison without parole, but has maintained he wasn't the one who pulled the trigger when Lloyd was shot six times.
