For the 30th time this season Mike Trout and Albert Pujols homered in same game for Angels, but Wednesday's blast for Pujols was one for the record books.
After Trout hit a solo homer off Blue Jays starter Marco Estrada, Pujols followed with one of his own, the 584th of his career, to move ahead of Mark McGwire for 10th all time.
Pujols and McGwire played one season together in St. Louis, Pujols' rookie year of 2001. Pujols hit his first career home run and McGwire hit his last in his final MLB season. Pujols was named Rookie of the Year and selected to the first of nine All-Star teams with the Cardinals.
