Buffalo Bills defensive lineman Adolphus Washington pleaded not guilty to improperly carrying a concealed firearm Monday in a Cincinnati court, per Mike Rodak of ESPN.com.
The original misdemeanor charge came on July 9 when he was arrested at a water park.
He will have a pre-trial hearing on Aug. 1.
TMZ acquired a video of the initial arrest, which featured an intense standoff with the police while Washington held a gun on his lap. The officer told him in the car afterward that "99 percent of the time" he would have been shot.
